2. Basic terms

Personal data is information about an identified or identifiable individual. A data subject is the person the data relates to. Processing includes collecting, storing, using, sharing and deleting data. The controller determines the purpose and means of processing; the processor processes data on their behalf. A recipient is an entity to which data is disclosed.

3. What data we collect

  • First and last name, email and phone number from contact and consultation forms.
  • Questionnaire answers: country, language skills, start date, length of stay, travelling as a couple and work experience.
  • Your CV and the data you choose to include in it, if you voluntarily attach it.
  • Email and, where applicable, your name when requesting an ebook; the content of your contact message and GDPR request.
  • A record of consent, when it was given and the policy version; when using paid services, the necessary contract and billing data as well.
  • Technical data needed for website security and data from analytics or marketing tools, if you consent to them.

We mainly collect data directly from you. Do not include sensitive data, copies of documents or unnecessary data about other people in your messages or CV.

4. Purposes and legal bases

We use your data to handle your consultation, contact message, CV assessment and ebook delivery. You give consent using an initially unticked checkbox on the relevant form (článok 6 ods. 1 písm. a GDPR). This consent does not cover unrelated marketing.

For steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and for delivering the services you order, processing is based on článok 6 ods. 1 písm. b GDPR. Accounting and other legal obligations and handling requests to exercise rights are based on článok 6 ods. 1 písm. c GDPR. Protecting legal claims, preventing fraud and securing the website may be based on a legitimate interest under článku 6 ods. 1 písm. f GDPR, following a proportionality assessment.

Consent is voluntary. Without the data necessary for the service you request, we cannot provide it. Exercising your rights does not require marketing consent or new consent; you can also contact us by email, phone or post.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your contact message for as long as needed to handle it. We keep consultation data, your CV and the email address used to deliver your ebook only for as long as the relevant purpose or valid consent lasts. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that we must continue on another legal basis.

We keep contract and accounting documents for the periods required by applicable legislation; documents relating to legal claims are kept for as long as needed to pursue or defend those claims. We keep your request to exercise rights and the record of how it was handled for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance with our obligations.

The source document specifies 10 years for CVs and ebooks. We do not automatically adopt this period for this website; appropriate specific retention periods and the deletion procedure must be confirmed by the controller before publication.

6. Data recipients and transfers

We only make data available to authorised people and providers of hosting, storage, technical support or communication services to the extent necessary. If the controller uses an integrated service to process forms, that service will also receive the data. When fulfilling a specific order, recipients may include the relevant partners or future employers; contract and billing data may be processed by accountants and legal representatives. We provide data to public authorities when required by law.

When communicating via WhatsApp or visiting Facebook or Instagram, the privacy rules of the relevant provider also apply. Technical and communication services may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers must have an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Specific providers, processing locations and safeguards need to be confirmed before publication.

7. Security and automated decision making

Access to form data is restricted to authorised administrators. CVs are not publicly available. The website uses encrypted communication. Data may be processed electronically and on paper. The questionnaire does not constitute automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects and does not replace a personal consultation.

8. Consent and its withdrawal

You can withdraw your consent at any time by email at info@pracujauzivaj.sk, by phone on 0904 117 888, by post to the registered office address or via GDPR form. State who is submitting the request and which processing it concerns. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before consent was withdrawn.

9. Your rights

  • Access: confirmation of whether we process your data, information about the processing and a copy of your data.
  • Oprava: correction of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data.
  • Erasure: erasure when the conditions under GDPR are met; this right is not absolute, for example where there is a legal obligation to retain data.
  • Obmedzenie: restriction of processing under the conditions set out in GDPR, for example while the accuracy of data is being verified.
  • Portability: data you have provided, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, if it is processed by automated means based on consent or a contract.
  • Objection: to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation; you can object to direct marketing at any time.
  • Withdrawal of consent: at any time for processing based on consent.

10. How we handle requests

Submit your request via GDPR form, by email, phone or post. If we have reasonable doubts, we may take proportionate steps to verify your identity. Do not send a copy of your ID unless specifically requested.

We will inform you of the action taken without undue delay, generally within one month at the latest. Depending on the complexity or number of requests, this period may be extended by a further two months; we will inform you of the extension and the reasons within the first month. Exercising your rights is generally free of charge. For manifestly unfounded or excessive requests, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act under the conditions set out in GDPR.

11. Complaint

If you believe that the processing violates GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic. You can contact us first so we can try to resolve the situation.

Google Analytics 4 measures visits and successful form submissions. Meta Pixel measures visits, submissions and WhatsApp clicks to measure and optimize advertising. Providers may receive technical data, IP addresses and browser identifiers. We do not send form content or contact details.

Technical data may be processed by Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, and their partners outside the EEA under safeguards in their policies. Automatic contact matching and sending CV data are not enabled. Analytics and advertising measurement can be chosen separately; Global Privacy Control blocks both.

12. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep the website working and remember your choice. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel only run after you give consent and only if they are configured on the website. Simply visiting the website does not imply consent. You can change your settings via „Cookie settings“ in the footer. External social links have their own data processing policies.
